No – Viral Interactive Limited, Viral Technologies Casinos

We had really high hopes for Viral Interactive as their products look pretty good. In particular the fantasy football betting. Alas we were informed of gross misconduct by the operator. We have heard a number of complaints about responsible gambling and self exclusions not being honoured unless it financially suits the casino and we have heard other complaints about money being confiscated from players accounts. A disgrace.

One player who had never self excluded from this Viral Interactive group (and doesn’t even live in the UK where certain self exclusions might be applicable) contacted us with a complain against the casino chain. The players first account with any member of this group was at Lucky Casino where they had no issues creating an account, depositing and withdrawing. They then played at Red Army Bet where they also won and then strangely received the following fraudulent email from the casino:

Hi Xxxxx,

I am contacting you regarding your gaming account.

Please be advised that your requested withdrawal has been cancelled and all the funds has been confiscated as you breached our terms and condition by creating accounts after a self exclusion. You also created an account with Luckycasino and we confirmed a withdrawal that shouldn’t have been confirmed and for this reason we won’t refund the deposits you made after the self exclusion (deposit amount was lower than the withdrawals confirmed on Luckycasino). All your accounts are now closed and you are not allowed to make any more accounts with any site that is owned by Viral Technology.

Don’t hesitate to contact us should you have any further questions about this.

Kind regards,

Xxxxx
Customer Care

The player had never self excluded from the chain, was not aware that Red Army was even connected to Lucky Casino and at both casinos was allowed to sign up and deposit without any problems. Had the player been self excluded at any property within the group then by UKGC rules dictate that the player should not have been allowed to register in the first place.

The fact that the casino not only cancelled and confiscated the withdrawals is one thing but they even went so far as to even steal the players deposits on top. Absolutely outrageous behaviour and against all licensee rules and potentially against the law completely!

We have no option but to blacklist the entire casino chain.

Some other negative feedback we have seen regarding this chain:

“Asked to close my account, then considered playing again so went back to discover account was never even closed, so asked if it’s ok that I played and then they closed the account (which was already requested) and said need to wait 7 days. Overall, casino is not good for serious players”

“Ok they offer a 500 € sign up bonus BUT the maximum winnings are 2000€ and the maximum bet is 2.5 € PLUS many slots are excluded.”

Interestingly the registered official owner of a number of these sites’ domain names is using the email address belonging to a glass and window constructor in Norway and if we dig a it deeper the registered owner is a heavy duty online poker player.
