Dog Pound Dollars from Rival is a very basic video slot indeed. It plays very smoothly and there’s a nice little animated dog wild but that’s about your lot. There’s no fancy bonus games only a free spins feature for landing 3, 4 or 5 scatters. This gives you a bog standard 15 free spins with a times 3 multiplier. That’s really it. There’s a nice cartoon animation splash screen before you enter the slot and the pay table screen features a running dog catcher, but it seems Rival forgot to put as much effort into the actual game itself which is a real shame.
The reel symbols include tinned dog food, the dog catcher, bones, tennis balls, doberman, poodles, sausage dogs, etc. The maximum winning combination is a whopping 10,000 times your line bet which works out at 666.67 times your overall stake.

With a very average return to player and not much excitement game play wise we can’t really think of much reason to play this slot. Rival have produced some decent slots, particularly the innovative interactive iSlots but Dog Pound Dollars doesn’t really cut the mustard for us. This seems like a bit of a rush job trying to cash in on dog lovers but that’s just not good enough these days.
If you are looking for entertainment then there are far more exciting and feature packed Rival slots out there.
