Yggdrasil Games Become Available In Lithuania Through Deal With Betsson

Yggdrasil Gaming Betsson Lithuania

Well known iGaming provider Yggdrasil has made a strong move to reinforce its existing partnership with Betsson Group. The two gambling industry giants have entered into a distribution deal that will give Yggdrasil exclusive access to the market in Lithuania for six months through Betsson’s Betsafe brand.

Betsson’s Lithuania operation will have access to the complete Yggdrasil catalogue of hugely popular games from the beginning of April. Among the games that will be waiting for Lithuanian players are such favourites as the Vikings trilogy, Yggdrasil’s first release to feature their new Splitz™ game mechanics, Temple Stacks, and the brand new Multifly slot.

Betsafe will also be prominently featuring Neon Rush, the second Splitz™ release, which gives players the chance to hit up to 15 Splitz of a kind and win huge payouts through six jackpots.

Adding to the benefits, Yggdrasil’s various proprietary in-game promotional tools, known as BOOST®, will also be available to help drive player engagement and foster retention in the new market.

Betsson initially entered Lithuania in 2016 when the online gambling market was first regulated and currently operates under the betsafe.lt domain.

Betsson was one of the first customers to offer Yggdrasil’s products to its players. The two companies initially formed a partnership in 2014 which expanded since then to cover multiple jurisdictions including Denmark, Latvia, Italy, and Spain.

Yggdrasil has been steadily increasing its presence in many key markets over the last few years and this new deal with Betsson in Lithuania just proves that we can expect them to continue to do so.

Yggdrasil’s Head of Nordics, Patrick Nordwall, spoke about the company’s increasingly beneficial ties with Betsson, “Betsson is one of our key customers and we are thrilled to extend our long-lasting partnership and partner with them in a new market.

“We continue to implement our growth strategy in regulated markets, and we are looking forward to offering our games to local players in Lithuania, especially titles featuring our new mechanics Splitz™ and upcoming Gigablox™.”

The Product Director at Betsson Group, Ciara Nic Liam, echoed similar sentiments on their side of the deal, “Yggdrasil’s games have been very popular among our customers across all markets since day one of our partnership and we know Lithuania will be no different. Their ever-growing portfolio of innovative and engaging games will be a great addition to our existing offering.”
