Before you ask, yes I did do that strike through title on purpose. Jungle Jim El Dorado is about as uninspired a slot as you can get. Microgaming know exactly how hugely popular Gonzo’s Quest is (the NetEnt classic slot) and as they seem to be only capable of coming up with one original idea of their own per year these days so they have just gone and ripped off NetEnt completely. Not only the same game mechanics as Gonzo’s Quest but they have even taken the same exact theme with Jungle Jim taking over the mantle of the great Gonzo.
I know that a lot of the lesser slot providers copy classic slot formulae and I know that even the big boys take inspiration from each other but this one is ridiculous. Microgaming should be better than that, they should be bigger than that and they should be leading the way rather than hanging on NetEnt’s coat tails like a lost little puppy.
How very very sad that they have stooped this low.
That being said, if Jungle Jim is half the slot Gonzo’s Quest is then they are bound to have a big winner on their hands.
