Before I start on my overall thoughts on this slot I’ll just point two facts out to you that might cross your mind:
- You cannot alter how many win lines you can play – I would have been tempted to try playing with 3 win lines to capitalise on the special win offering but MG have cleverly disabled the option to change the number of lines.
- If you do land the Bar Bar Black Sheep bonus, for every 100 x line bet win this translates into 6.67 x overall stake. So the maximum win you can gain from this bonus feature is 66.6 times your stake if you get lucky enough to hit the 999x line bet win. During free spins you can win up to 66.6 x 3 with this feature and this is where the money is hiding.
Well those are the pleasantries out of the way. Now down to business… The idea for this slot had a lot of potential but seems like yet another wasted opportunity by Microgaming. This feels like a slot that came out 5 or 6 years ago, not something from 2016. Everything is just a bit bland. Nothing terrible just nothing special. The special bonus is all fine and dandy and looks pretty cool, but that’s all the entertainment you get. The rest of the gameplay is like a thousand other online slots and the free spins bonus is a paltry 10 free spins with a x3 multiplier (though the music in free spins works really really well and if you do land the bar bar black sheet mini feature during free spins you can expect a decent win).
I am sure there are some big wins in this slot, of course there are. But there are in most slots and there’s just not enough entertainment in this slot to make me think about playing it over one of the other hundred similar paying Microgaming slots.
