Pwr.bet Casino Review

PWRbet Casino Review (The important stuff): The Pwr.Bet Casino is a multiplatform online casino presenting table games, live table games, video poker, and, of course, plenty of video slot machines. Main video slot providers seem to be Microgaming and Play’n Go with other games provided by names such as Net Entertainment, NYX, IGT, Betsoft, OMI, Evolution Gaming, iSoftBet and OneXTwo Gaming.

In addition to slots, Pwr.bet Casino offers the standard table games like Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, and poker, as well as several variations on each game. Plenty of live dealer tables for each game are offered as well. Players will also find quite a few versions of video poker and other miscellaneous games.

The site itself is fairly well designed, but we found a few glitches here and there that do take away from the experience. The general feeling of the site is a lot of flash and glitz without much substance behind it. Many things appear as if they could have been done much better. While we cannot blacklist it, we cannot give it top marks either.

Pwr.bet Casino Information

There are plenty of slots to play on Pwr.bet from both Microgaming and Play’n Go. The selection of games is good, but we’ve certainly seen other casinos that offer more variety as far as their game providers. This, alone, wouldn’t be a deal breaker, but…

Browsing through some of the slots, we noticed two glaring problems:

No Fun Mode for us

The first problem is, perhaps, just an annoyance; if you’re signed in through a casino account, there doesn’t seem to be any way to play any of the slots in “just for fun” mode. The only way to do so is to log out and navigate back to the slot you wanted to try out. I don’t know about you, but when I’ve got my eye on a new video slot, I want to play around with it a bit before I spin for real money. Having to log out every time I want to try a new slot for free seems a bit of a pain in the arse to me.

Glitches in Games

The second problem I came across makes some of the slots actually unplayable. I found that the coding on the website causes quite a lot of the slots to load in such a way that they are not fully visible on my screen (testing on a standard 15” laptop in Chrome and Firefox). It didn’t seem to matter if I viewed things normally in the browser window or switched to full-screen. Viewing in the browser window, I had to choose if I wanted to see the top of the slot or the controls at the bottom. I could not see both. Viewing full screen, the controls were completely cut off and I could not play. Either option is not enjoyable, to say the least. I’ve never encountered this problem on any other site.

Unclear Terms And Conditions

Pwr.bet’s terms and conditions are easy to find, but they seem to be very generic and leave out a lot of information that should probably be included by a casino that wants to be taken seriously. For example, the terms state “For various legal or commercial reasons, we do not permit accounts to be opened by, or used from, customers based or domiciled in certain jurisdictions. You may not use the Website and/or the Services if you are located in a prohibited jurisdiction.” However, it doesn’t seem to say anywhere on the website what jurisdictions are accepted or prohibited. (I was able to ascertain that the UK is prohibited.)

Unclear Withdrawal Terms

Also, regarding deposits, the terms state, “The company does not warrant that all methods of payment are available at all times. To verify which payment and withdrawal methods that are currently available and the time lapse these take to process kindly visit our Deposit tab in the main page of our website.” When I checked the deposit page it only presented me with one method, Neteller, and no timeframe was displayed saying how long it would take for the deposit to be processed.

Worse, the terms also state to check the withdrawal page to see current withdrawal methods available. When I checked this page, I got nothing more than a blank white page with an empty grey box. Making me feel even more uneasy, the title on the withdrawal page reads “BetNCatch.com” which, apparently, is or was another casino owned by the same company. No matter who BetNCatch.com is, if I’m on a site called Pwr.bet trying to get my money out, I don’t want to see someone else’s name on the title of the page.

In my mind, I think if they’re not paying attention to these details, what else aren’t they paying attention to?

Pwr.bet Slot RTP Numbers Are Available In Our Database

If your primary interest at the Pwr.bet Casino is their slots, you’ll be able to find the RTP rates for most of their games in our RTP database. They do use very reputable game providers that we’ve been tracking for quite some time.

Pwr.bet Bonuses And Perks

Again, the details here are unclear. When I go to the promotions page of the site, there is a big happy banner that says there is a 100% bonus up to €400.00 + 50 free spins, but when I click the banner and go to the deposit page, it says the maximum bonus is only €200.00. Upon a second look, I also noticed that it says €400 on the banner, but the text on the promo page right under the banner says €200. This is another red flag that doesn’t exactly instil a feeling of trust.

So we’ll suggest that if you’re going to make a deposit based on a bonus, you should contact support first to be sure the bonus you get is what you’re expecting. Currently listed on their promotion page are the following:

  • 10 free spins on NetEnt Starburst slot for signing up, no deposit required
  • €400 welcome bonus plus 50 free spins
  • 35% weekly reload bonus up to €200
  • 50% second reload bonus up to €200

Support

Pwr.bet offers 24-hour support through either email or live chat. They say they will try their best to answer any questions or solve any problems immediately and strive to resolve all support requests within a maximum of 24 hours. There is also a FAQ page with answers to the most common questions players might have.

Licensing

The casino is licensed by both the governments of Curacao and Malta. The Maltese authorities are known to be a reputable and trusted gambling licensing body. These licenses allow Pwr.bet to operate legally in most areas of the EU.

Is Pwr.bet Casino A Scam?

It doesn’t seem that Pwr.bet is intentionally scamming anyone. They are working with well-known and reputable game suppliers and licensed by a highly trusted gaming authority (Malta). These two facts wouldn’t seem to indicate that the casino is intentionally trying to take anyone’s money.

It is very hard to tell, though, if there is just a stunning lack of attention to detail, or if things are left unclear on purpose to allow for “mistakes” that would inevitably work out in favour of the casino. There are just too many small things here that add up to a big lack of confidence in the operations behind the scenes.

Although I’m not sure if I would call Pwr.bet casino a scam, I would recommend players look for another casino to play. With so many other choices out there, it just doesn’t make sense to risk your money messing around with unclear terms or bonuses. Whether these things are intentional or not, they make the operation seem shady.

The bottom line is that I wouldn’t deposit my own money here, so I certainly wouldn’t recommend that you do it.
