Online Casino Rating:
Rejected due to steadily worsening player treatment and yet another take over. Last year the 32Red group took over the Roxy group. On Feb 23rd 2017 it was announced the Kindred group were taking over the 32Red group. I fear for the players well-being with all these changes as the new owners have paid well over the odds for the shares (see London stock exchange history over the past few years) and there is already a direct correlation between share prices and player treatment going backward.
32Red Agrees To GBP176 Million Takeover By Kindred Group
LONDON (Alliance News) – Online gaming company 32Red PLC on Thursday said it has agreed to a takeover offer valuing the business at GBP175.6 million from larger gaming company Kindred Group PLC.
Kindred will pay 196.00 pence a share for 32Red, a 16% premium to the UK firm’s closing price on Wednesday and a 32% premium to its volume-weighted average share price in the month prior to the deal being announced.
Shares in 32Red were up 16% to 200.00p on the news, one of the best performers in the AIM All-Share.
32Red’s board has unanimously recommended the offer.
“We have consistently and profitably grown 32Red’s market share in the regulated markets of the UK and more recently, Italy. The management team at Kindred have a similar business philosophy to our own and we look forward to joining forces with Kindred and continuing our successful growth within the Kindred Group,” said 32Red Chief Executive Ed Ware.
Online Casino Review:
Roxy Palace were out on their own for a good number of years but have recently been bought out by the chain behind 32 Red. This can only be a good thing, having such a powerhouse behind them. While the 32 red chain have kind of lost their way a bit in the last couple of years we do hope they are just transitioning and with a few key acquisitions they have made hopefully they will strengthen and optimize internally and that will hopefully see benefits being passed back to the players on all their brands.
