Playtech’s Iron Man 2 slot is pretty much our ‘go to’ Marvel Jackpot slot.
There are 2 different versions of the slot though and it is the 25 line version that we advise and would say stay away from the 50 line version. The simple reason for this is the return to player (RTP).
Iron Man 2 (25 lines): RTP = 95.98%
Iron Man 2 (50 lines): RTP = 92.31%
With such a huge difference in house edge we can see no good reason at all to play the 50 line version.
What can we say about the slot itself though? Well it is very easy on the eye, a typical well made and well thought out Playtech slot. Though the gameplay is pretty standard, it’s twist is having certain Iron Man symbols stacked double. The feature win gives you free spins with a free wild symbol in the middle of the third reel, and an increasing multiplier with 2 spins at a x2 multiplier and then 2 spins at each multiplier up to and including x6.
There are two reasons this slot is our go to Marvel Jackpot slot. First of all the RTP is the highest of all the Marvel Jackpot slots and secondly it is the most consistent of the Marvel slots meaning you can play out a number of strategies. The feature wins are fairly consistent and while you will struggle to hit the really big 1000x wins, you can have decent results from the smaller big wins.
Our Strategy
We do very much enjoy this slot and the decent RTP means it is the safest slot to let autospin in the background when we are hunting the progressive jackpots.
We also like to use both the short-game incremental betting strategy and the long-game incremental betting strategy on this slot due to the way it generally plays. Often playing both the short and long-game strategies at the same time (this does take a lot of practice to get right and as with any strategy you will have fallow periods).
